The Wellness Evaluation
What is the Wellness Evaluation?
The Wellness Evaluation is a series of tests that are undertaken to help you learn more about your current health and fitness levels. These same tests are then retaken every three months to monitor progress, identify areas that need more work and ultimately make sure that the training and/or healthy eating plan you are undertaking is working efficiently. Three particular areas are looked at, namely:
An Example:- Have you or a friend ever followed a diet plan or a weight reduction plan of some sort?
The body composition section analyses in great detail the varying amounts of body fat, muscle and water that make up your body. These levels are vital components of information to have as without this (simply using scales) you are unclear of what is happening beneath the surface! For example, in a four week period you may lose 2 kg's of fat, gain 1kg of muscle and increase your water levels by a few litres. The scales will tell you that you weigh the same! We, however, will know otherwise. Scales are misleading and highly inaccurate.
What benefits will the Wellness Evaluation give me?
Having a greater knowledge of your body will help you to achieve much more in your path towards optimum health and wellbeing. The Wellness Evaluation too can be tailored towards aiding you to achieve a certain goal, e.g running a marathon, losing two stone, reducing your blood pressure plus many more.
The evaluation too may highlight any health implications, such as raised blood pressure or onset of cardiovascular disease.
